  Quiet Efficiency

Swing Compressor
The design of the swing compressor reduces friction during operation for smoother and quieter rotation with less vibration, and it also minimises the leakage of refrigerant gas during compression. The result is an air conditioner that operates so quietly and efficiently that you'll barely notice it in your home, or your budget. Available in all models except the FAQ90C Model.


Reluctance DC Motor
Daikin's Reluctance DC motors utilise powerful neodymium magnets that are 10 times stronger than conventional magnets. By maximising torque, Daikin's Reluctance DC motors can boost efficiency 20% higher than conventional motors.


PAM Control
Pulse Amplitude Modulation Technology is one of the keys to Daikin’s success in producing an air conditioner that offers high power while maintaining excellent energy efficiency. Available in all models except the FAQ90C model.


Refrigerants
Every air conditioner uses a refrigerant. Daikin air conditioners utilise three: R410A, R22, and R407C refrigerants.

R410A is the latest advance in refrigerants and provides excellent stability, low toxicity and non-combustibility. R22 refrigerant is a long running industry standard refrigerant.

R407C is used in Daikin Super Inverter Ducted units, and provides excellent stability, low toxicity and non-combustibility, as well as offering superior energy savings.


Daikin's Acclaimed Difference
Many Daikin air conditioning systems have received the Top Energy Saver Award, an award system created by governments to recognise the most efficient star-rated products on the market.

 

Some specific model features include: Intelligent eye, an infrared sensor with the ability to sense human movement in a room. When you are in the room, the air conditioner operates normally. If you leave the room for more than 20 minutes the air conditioner automatically changes to energy saving operation.

24Hr ON/OFF Timer which can be preset to start and stop the air conditioner at any time within a 24 hour period. Once the times are set, the air conditioner can be operated for a period by simply pressing the ON or OFF timer buttons.
 

The new Daikin Super Inverter air conditioners are so intelligent that, when in Auto Mode, they consider all of the factors that affect your comfort, such as outdoor and indoor temperatures. They then remember your preferred setting in similar conditions and make subtle adjustments to the temperature so you feel totally comfortable. Because this intelligence eliminates excessive cooling and heating, it also achieves energy savings.


Guaranteed operation at temperature extremes. Daikin Super Inverter Ducted systems handle the most extreme temperatures. Operation is guaranteed from a freezing -10°C to a searing 46°C.
